The EP-PDMCA1100A is an advanced hybrid digital analyzer that integrates both multi-channel pulse amplitude analysis and real-time energy spectrum analysis in a single compact unit. It is specifically designed to interface with a wide range of scintillation detectors—including NaI(Tl), LaBr₃(Ce), BGO, and others—for high-precision gamma-ray spectroscopy.

Utilizing full-waveform digitization, the system directly samples the preamplifier output signal at high speed. Onboard processing handles critical functions such as high-voltage control, baseline (zero) correction, gain stabilization, and temperature monitoring, ensuring accurate and consistent spectral data acquisition under varying environmental conditions.

A built-in spectrum stabilization algorithm actively compensates for gain drift, maintaining long-term spectral stability without manual recalibration. For spectral analysis, the device employs Gaussian peak fitting combined with step-function background modeling to accurately calculate net peak areas. This enables real-time nuclide identification and activity quantification, with results streamed directly via its communication interface.
